MISSION

A combination of different factors, including regulations requiring the elimination of saturated fats, rising concerns among consumers health, about ecological damage caused by palm oil production, have together provided motivation for us to focus on innovative solutions.

Having acquired an understanding of structuring principles, we are now heading towards applications in real food systems and possible commercialization of some of the structured systems. We are collaborating with an industry to explore the possibility of proof-of-concept, scale-up and product development.

When the technology is going to achieve necessary safety certifications, a scale-up production of gelators would be the next milestone. We want to reach into strategic customer markets and secure funding to complete the testing rounds and to then naturally generate revenue growth once safety certificates are in-place.

The Oil Gels company needs to build an organizational team to manage technical and non-technical aspects of growth which is sensitive to sector-diverse as well as geo-politically diverse environments.
